Since when did I have to play catch-up on status updates?

Hey there!

I have got news, gossips, this and that for Valentine’s Day, too!

Allow me to begin by letting out a trivia — 14th of February is my blog’s anniversary which means in 2018, I have had this thing up and running for a year!

I would really love to thank you all for sticking around with this alien in cyberspace, specifically in the bloggerverse. If you actually think about it just a little more — I started blogging on that one day I was supposed to be outside with my other half, or at the very least be out there trying to find that other half I deserve. I did none of those.
The birth of this blog was at a cost of my romantically unengaging life.

Well thank goodness, this post wouldn’t have to be another one of those yearly reflections because I have already done just that at the beginning of the year! So, staying true to my promise being this post brining in news; I have got both the good and bad. Let me break my own character and let go of the good news first.

It is entirely personal so if you are here looking for anime stuff to read; this will disappoint you a lot. But if you happen to become curious about what goes behind the scene of that very person running this blog of wonders then tune in for the gossips!

Starting from late May, I will be entering a three-and-a-half-year study/internship hybrid with CP, Thailand’s largest private company, as a business manager.
Yeap. I studied Biochemistry to do business management work; totally related, aren’t they?

It may sound like something out of this world, and it probably is! To many developed countries, this is basically what you would call in-house training. This is practically equivalent to being offered an employment spot in Kyoto Animation as a novice animator (who obviously has talent and potential or why else would KyoAni hire you?). The business model for both the company I’m working with and KyoAni are almost identical, I can’t be any more pleased with the results. Basically upon finishing my training, I am guaranteed a management job within the company’s division. This is on top of the already existing self-employed business I currently have before my return from New Zealand.

To make things more worth (my mom) celebrating, I have also got a fifty percent scholarship for the course. That’s right — half of my tuition fees off! Yippee!

Now, the bad news should come off as extremely obvious; I will have even less time for my hobbies, this blog included. I have recently become very inactive to the point that even Irina stopped making fun of me for having been the complete opposite despite my claims. As the saying goes: you can’t properly write about anime without having watched anime beforehand.

Alright, I’m going to stop the negatives right here. This ain’t no suicide note!

I will try to come up with a witty post in celebration of my blog’s first anniversary. I am always fascinated by the whole theory versus practical debacle as I have fun ideas in mind, but the most important part has to always be ‘getting the work done’.

Hopefully dark times will only last within the Winter Season as this blog will break its character and be much less about anime.

I’m away for work again for the entirety of this weekend. I’d only wanted to do something lovely on the right day (without the schedule function). 😦

On the bright side… Man. I am seriously getting good at making posts from my phone…

Have a lovely day and see you soon!

    1. Thank you love!
And I’m not leaving my blog, Rin-chan!
If you can work and write a post, I sure will be able to go through my intern and write one too!

Sure, my posts will have a lot less to do with anime for the entirety of this season, but who knows the future that holds next season’s fate?

      1. I can guess which review it was that you read. Thanks for checking out my reviews. It’s good that I have some quality content, but don’t sell yourself short. You have a great writing style as well and I’m glad to have discovered your blog.

  3. Well…this is both terrific and sad news. But let me first say this: congrats man…I really mean this!. Such a cool thing that you are going to be doing. Really happy for you.
But obviously I am sad about the fact that you will be making less appearances in the blogging verse. Don’t worry though…whatever happens I will always keep following your blog. It’s just too awesome.
But, as I said: truly happy for you. Congrats and good luck.
(Ps…of course it goes without saying that we will keep tagging you for everything 😂😂😂)

  4. Dang, that is seriously some good news and some bad news. I’m happy you’re moving up in life but it’s sad to know you’ll be even less active.

Keep fighting the good fight, Shoka! Congratulations.

    1. Like every damn time I’m going to study in new courses, I get nervous for things in the future I know next to nothing about. I have mentioned this a few times already but eventually I will find that balance I need to live with my hobbies.

      Lets Fighto~
      Thank you, based Remy!

      1. Please spare my wallet!
Would have been looking good if I was still paying with NZD. Now that I’m paying with THB it looks like heaps. xD

It’s really just me but I’m scared of big numbers…
